Hello,

My name is Liletta Thompson and my passion is in bringing awareness to Domestic Violence. 

 I have seen first hand the terrible consequences that abuse causes in the family,

for everyone involved.

Abuse has many forms-

Verbal, Emotional, Mental, and Physical- just to name a few.

No matter the type of abuse- it all serves the same purpose- destroying the victim- one layer at a time.

I have learned that in order to avoid abuse or leave abuse the first step is to love, respect, and value one's self. 

My hope is that this conference will help shine the light on some of the issues that create road blocks in self love and appreciation.

When I came up with this concept I had no doubt on which organization I wanted to partner up with.  Since I had volunteered with ACTS/Turning Points in the past- I knew this would be a great opportunity for both of us.
