with Mycah Chevalier  

Born & Raised in Our Nation's Capital,
Mycah Chevalier had a vision to cook up an ensemble reminiscent of her own Creole upbringing.  

As one of the lead vocalists for the Tough Act To Follow Band, Mycah traveled for 4 years,
and had the honor of sharing the stage with music legend, Luther Vandross.
In addition to her road experience with T.A.T.F., Mycah's other accomplishments include
singing and recording with local DC Groups Chosen, Miraj, Soul Patrol, Stress Free Band,
Let It Flow, Double Digit and singing with Philip Jaymes Flowers as the opening act for the
Whispers at DC’s Carter Baron Amphitheater.  She was also cast in Debbie Allen's production
of Soul Possessed, starring world-renowned recording artists, Patti Labelle, and trumpet
player, Arturo Sandoval; Performed with Gospel artist James Trey Howard Featuring
Surrender (who just released their first project “Prodigal Son”).

This past year Mycah spent 3 months performing in Ethiopia and Sweden for Sheikh
Muhammed Al Ahmoudi, Owner of the Sheraton, Addis Ababa(Ethiopia), Midroc & More.
While there, Mycah was part of the opening act for major recording artist Ja Rule, during the
Ethiopian New Year Celebration last September!  AND LAST, BUT NOT LEAST…Mycah
was recently featured at the Smooth Jazz Brunch for WSMJ 104.3FM in Baltimore.  She is
currently featured on the radio’s website along with pianist Dawoud Said performing “Shadow
of Your Smile”(Available on Mycah’s CD).
